<\/figure><\/li><\/figure><\/li><\/ul><\/figure>\n\n\n\nWe start by walking north and into Nyborg along Dyrehavevej, but turn left onto Gamle Vindingevej after just 100 meters. Gamle Vindingevej turns out to be a wonderful acquaintance with winding roads, beautiful old buildings and, not least, beautiful views over the fjord.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
- <\/figure><\/li><\/figure><\/li><\/figure><\/li><\/ul><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
After just under a kilometer we turn left onto the old railway line, which we follow for the next almost 2 kilometers. The stretch again offers beautiful views over the fjord, but also over the open fields. After just over 2.5 kilometers we cross Vindinge \u00c5, which has its source southwest of \u00c5rslev, and extends about. 30 kilometers to Holckenhavn Fjord.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shortly after crossing the stream, we follow the path's bend to the right, and where we previously had a view of the fields, we now walk with a high slope on the left and tall vegetation on the right. We continue to follow Vindinge \u00c5, which is on our right. The path turns left and after 3.3 kilometers we come to 2 watering holes, where there is also a table-bench set = coffee break.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
- <\/figure><\/li><\/figure><\/li><\/figure><\/li><\/ul><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
Our walk continues for a few hundred meters before we come to a bench just before a fence. Here we go left over a small embankment and immediately turn left again. We now walk on a wide path\/field road, where we have an embankment on our left and a large rosehip plantation on our left. Rosehip powder is a natural remedy that is attributed to many effects - including anti-inflammatory effects, effects against arthritis, wrinkles, pain and generally strengthens the body's immune system. Thus, more knowledgeable about Rosehip production, we continue through the plantation and come out on Skolevej, where we turn left. At the end of Skolevej, a bench has been set up on a small square, which has been set up to celebrate the fact that the village of Bynkel was named village of the year in 2017.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
- <\/figure><\/li><\/figure><\/li><\/figure><\/li><\/figure><\/li><\/ul><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
We turn left onto Lillem\u00f8llevej\/Blankenborgvej, which we follow until we can turn right onto Kogsb\u00f8llevej, which we follow for approx. 1.5 kilometres. The journey takes us through Kogsb\u00f8lle, which is an idyllic little village. Almost through Kogsb\u00f8lle, we turn left onto Stevnsh\u00f8jvej, which leads us through a winding road through quite hilly terrain. At the highest point on Stevnsh\u00f8jvej, we can see over Nyborg and in clear weather also Knudshoved and the lighthouse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
- <\/figure><\/li><\/figure><\/li><\/ul><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
After almost 9 kilometers the road leads us into the forest, and we quickly come to Svendborgvej, which we cross with caution and go right. Less than 100 meters later we turn left into Kajberg Skov, which with its 294 hectares is a large part of Natura 2000. The forest is privately owned, but there is free traffic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
- <\/figure><\/li><\/figure><\/li><\/figure><\/li><\/ul><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
After about 300 meters we turn left and follow a small forest road that leads us through the most enchanting piece of forest. The path turns 90 degrees to the right and we now come out into a more open area, where we go left across an open area and now approach the sea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
- <\/figure><\/li><\/figure><\/li><\/figure><\/li><\/figure><\/li><\/figure><\/li><\/ul><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
After almost 11 kilometers we reach the coast, which is well hidden behind a fringe of vegetation. We turn left and follow the wide gravel road with the forest on our left and the vegetation on our right. Suddenly both the forest and the vegetation end, and to the left we can now see far over the fields, and to the right we can see out over Nyborg Fjord. After about 11.5 kilometers we choose to go right and down to the water to eat the food we brought. While we sit and eat, the sea breeze comes rolling in, and we can see how visibility is falling. We agree that we do not want to walk along the water, as there is very thick seaweed and not much beach. We therefore go back on the gravel road and continue towards Nyborg. The gravel road is called Holckenhavn, and leads us through a newly established dike and wetland area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
- <\/figure><\/li><\/figure><\/li><\/figure><\/li><\/ul><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
As the road name almost suggests, the gravel road leads us up towards Holckenhavn Slot<\/a>, which dates back to 1579. The castle is used today for conferences and private events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
- <\/figure><\/li><\/figure><\/li><\/figure><\/li><\/ul><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
Outside the castle grounds we turn right onto Dyrehavevej, and after about 500 meters we return to our car.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
